Meet Dr. Casciato

Dr. Casciato is a certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario.  Dr. Casciato was born in Kamloops, British Columbia and raised in Toronto.

His formal dental education was completed at the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan, USA, where he received his degree, Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1991.  He completed a General Practice Residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1992.  He subsequently completed a four year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Residency at Sinai Hospital, Detroit, in 1996. 

Dr. Casciato received his specialty licensure in Oral  and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario in 1996 following successful completion of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada Fellowship Examination in 1996.  He is a Fellow of Royal College of Dentist of Canada, as well as a member of the Ontario Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  Dr. Casciato has a practice restricted to the specialty area of oral and maxillofacial surgery.  He is presently on active staff at both Grand River Hospital and St. Mary’s General Hospital. 

Dr. Casciato resides in the Kitchener-Waterloo area with his wife and two children.
